The Initial Stage of Treatment
The process starts with a consultation, during which our dentists will examine your teeth, gums, bite and overall smile. If we determine you to be a good candidate for Invisalign, we’ll go over the estimated cost and timeline, and if you choose to move ahead with it, we’ll take impressions of your teeth and advanced images of your smile. We’ll send these materials to our trusted dental laboratory so it can create your customized aligner trays. Once they’re ready, we’ll review detailed instructions with you to ensure you feel confident during treatment.
How to Wear the Aligners
Invisalign aligners need to be worn 20-22 hours per day to ensure smooth progress. They can be removed during meals and during brushing and flossing, and you have the freedom to remove them during special occasions. The success of the treatment hinges on your dedication to wearing the aligners, though.
Every 1-2 weeks, as directed, you’ll transition to the next set of aligners to continue moving your teeth into place. We’ll also work with you to schedule followup appointments for every 6 weeks so we can monitor your progress.
